The City Wide story begins in Kansas City, where Frank Oddo founded a commercial cleaning company in 1961. Over the next 30 years, Mr. Oddo would steadily grow the company by focusing on providing excellent quality of service and excellence in sales.
In 1996, Frank's son Jeff Oddo became president of City Wide and took the company in a new direction. Instead of focusing on operations - providing building maintenance services with a large hourly staff - City Wide would focus on sales and management, relying on a network of exceptional contractors to provide the needed services.
By 2001 the success of this business model was apparent, and City Wide was ready to expand. City Wide sold its first franchise in 2002, and has since expanded to more than 30 franchises across the United States.
