Local Support is an additional supplement provided by Local Area Representatives who provide ongoing strategic planning, mentoring, communications and team building with a vested interest in the franchisees success. This adds tremendous value to the franchise opportunity and our sales process!

Expand the franchise to provide skilled home care, but do it wisely.

ABC franchisees have the option of waiting until they exceed $500,000 in ANNUAL billings to start preparing to scale up the business and expand to skilled services. This strategy avoids the risk of unnecessary overhead until it is justified by business growth. Most States may take 12-24 months to complete this process and ABC knows that a gradual approach is the best. This eliminates any sudden increase in overhead or operational complexities.

5-10 years from now many “competitors” will be sending all of the skilled referral’s to us! We see this as a key to the long-term value of the franchise unit. New franchisee learning center advances ABC training initially and throughout the development of the franchise. Not only for franchisees but for the caregiving staff. This technology is the next generation of home care compliance, continuing education and quality control. This promotes greater employee recruiting and retention. This goes beyond training and support to a system-wide culture of advanced educational systems.

ABC training schedule overview:

Weeks 1-5:

Completion of operations-based Training Modules prior to Corporate training visit.

Weeks 6-10:

Additional operations based Training Modules and one-on-one business coaching preparing for your Opening.

Week 11: Week-long Corporate Training at Always Best Care Corporate Headquarters which includes field training at a local office and additional classroom training.

Week 12: Direct, on-site coaching during your first week in business. This is followed by ongoing local field Support from ABC Area Representatives.

Management Strength

Michael Newman has excelled in the Senior Care industry for over 20 years, gaining invaluable hands-on experience as an owner/operator of several residential care and assisted living communities. He was licensed by the state of California to teach a variety of topics ranging from medication management to dementia care, all in Senior Care field, and taught an administrator course for individuals or corporations that wished to open an assisted living community. Mr. Newman also developed what is now the largest assisted living case management company in California, which manages care for seniors with skilled care needs but live in non-skilled assisted living communities. He founded Always Best Care in 1996 to provide assisted living placement services, and two years later expanded to non-medical in-home care services. Mr. Newman is a graduate of Chico State University with a focus on international business and economics. Always Best Care began offering franchise opportunities in late 2007, providing non-medical in-home care, assisted living placement services, and skilled home health care.
